Loving My Play Mat!

On Monday, Daddy set up my play mat.  And I love it!!!!!  I can't really enjoy the toys yet, but I LOVE looking at the lights when laying down.  The lights blink while the music plays.  When looking at the lights, I love to coo, make tons of noises, and move my feet like I'm dancing.  Mommy and Daddy crack up laughing everytime I'm laying on my mat.  Video to come. . . so enjoy the pics for now!

Pictures With Santa!

I just realized I never posted these pictures.  Before Christmas, Payton went to visit Santa.  She was so cute!  Before we left the house, she was in such a really good mood and I got great pictures of her.  While visiting Santa, she slept the entire time, but woke up in enough time to take a picture.  We were so proud of her- no crying!!!

Christmas 2011

     On Christmas morning, Payton enjoyed seeing all of her gifts from Santa.   She must have been a REALLY good girl for a month!  Not long after opening up Santa's gifts, the Bruns family was on the way towards St. Francisville. Once we all arrived, we were greeted by everyone at the door since they all couldn't wait to see Payton! She spent the day with CiCi, Pop, Aunt Caress, Bill, Aunt Charlen, Nicole, Drew, Charlotte, Aunt Cindy, Uncle Overton, Sam, Ms. Sue, Big Dad and Gran. She enjoyed every minute of it.

     The next day, Payton got to see her Uncle Matt and meet her Aunt Kim and cousins, Claire and Elizabeth.  She had a great time playing with Aunt Kim and Claire.  Claire showed Payton all of her stuffed animals, tickled her, and played peek-a-boo.  Claire was so cute with Payton.  We all had a great time together! 

       For the remainder of the time, Payton and Mommy stayed for a couple of days in Lafayette while Daddy went home to work.  While in Lafayette, several family members and friends visited to finally meet Payton.  Overall, she had an exciting and eventful Christmas!  We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas as well!

Payton's First Christmas 2011

Payton's first Christmas was spent in Lafayette.  The Bruns gang went in on Friday, December 23rd and were busy the entire time.  On Christmas Eve, Payton spent the night with Pop, Lolli, Nanny Sommer, JuJu, and Granny.  She was the highlight of the night and was in every picture taken!  The night was so eventful that she didn't go to sleep until 10:30!  She was exhausted! 

You can't tell by my face, but I was VERY excited for my First Christmas!
